Colts Sign RB as Injury Replacement
It's been a tough week for Indianapolis Colts running backs. The relationship between the Colts and Jonathan Taylor deteriorated over the weekend, and Zack Moss suffered a broken arm on Monday.
The Colts announced a move on Tuesday, the signing of UIndy running back Toriano Clinton.
Clinton is the all-time leader in rushing for the University of Indianapolis with 4,538 yards. He was a rookie-camp invite for the Colts in May, so they are familiar with one another.
In a corresponding move, the Colts announced they waived defensive tackle Jamal Woods. Woods was an undrafted free agent signing from the University of Illinois. Players like that have a tendency to yo-yo on and off the roster, so it wouldn't be a total surprise to see Woods in a Colts uniform again at some point.
