Watch: Shane Steichen Victory Speech after Colts Beat Panthers

Watch Indianapolis Head coach Shane Steichen address his team after their 27-13 win over the Carolina Panthers.
In this story:

The Indianapolis Colts had lost three games in a row and were in dire need of a victory. They got one in Charlotte over the rebuilding Carolina Panthers and former head coach Frank Reich.

Cornerback Kenny Moore had a career day with two interceptions returned for touchdowns as the Colts won 27-13.

A normally stoic Shane Steichen was animated in the locker room after the game.

"That's what I'm talking about," Steichen shouted to his team. "We talked about getting back on track. We needed that."

Steichen went on to compliment special performances including Moore.

"First time, since 1971, in franchise history two-pick-sixes... Kenny Moore," shouted Steichen.

"Also, second-longest field goal in franchise history 57 yards... Matt Gay!"

With the victory the Colts moved their record to 4-5. They are currently in 11th place in the AFC Playoff race with eight games to play.

Talking playoffs may be a little premature for the Colts, but they have three-winnable games coming up including the New England Patriots (2-7), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5) and at the Tennessee Titans (3-5).

After losing three in a row, after losing their starting quarterback for the season, playoffs may seems like a pipe dream. However this Colts team has played excellent offense no matter who is under center, and the defense stepped up against an admittedly-struggling Panthers team.

Can they put together a streak and legitimately talk playoffs when the calendar turns to December?

Watch Steichen talk to his team and it becomes easy to believe.
