Washington Football Team Practice Report - Thursday September 3rd
The Washington Football Team will be pared down to 53 on Saturday, back up to a total of 69 players on either the active or practice squad by Sunday.
And then it is on for real. A typical bonus day will happen on Labor Day Monday and then we are live and for very real this Wednesday in a normal game week schedule.
Here's the latest from the INOVA Sports Performance Center in Ashburn on Thursday.
Injured Players not participating: Kendall Fuller, Saahdiq Charles, Antonio Gandy-Golden, Jonathan Allen, Thomas Davis Sr., Donald Payne and Morgan Moses were among the players that did not appear to be participating.

We won't get an official injury report until next week and Ron Rivera has clearly bristled at us asking questions about individual players, as he did on Thursday when I asked about the offensive tackle log jam issue due to Saahdiq Charles injury and when he was asked about Kendall Fuller, who has been out for about a week.
We don't know how good the tight end group is going to be but watching new position coach Pete Hoener is always going to be fun. To say he is old school and feisty would be a mega understatement.
Turned video on right after TE Coach Pete Hoener screamed at his group with an "F" bomb as the main ingredient to his coaching points. Wanted his guys to get pads down, regardless of who they are or they won't play. @WashingtonNFL
