The Redskins said they would get some of their younger receivers involved more in the passing attack starting this Sunday and it appears they are making moves to back that plan up, by promoting young Cam Sims.

The Redskins made a roster move Saturday before the close of league business. With Paul Richardson declared out, they promoted a young receiver to replace him.

Cam Sims has potential. The question is does he have it only in August when games do not count or in November, when bullets are flying for real?

He's so talented but incredibly raw still.

With  Richardson out on Sunday, Kelvin Harmon figures to start opposite of Terry McLaurin as Dwayne Haskins makes his FedExField debut.

Washington released linebacker and special teams player, Tanner Vallejo,to make room on  the 53-man roster.
