The Week 7 game between the one win Washington Redskins and the undefeated San Francisco 49ers is here, but before it kicks off it's time to take a look at the official inactive lists for both teams. Coming off of the  team's first win of the season, the Redskins are worse for wear and will  be missing key contributors in cornerback Josh Norman, running back Chris Thompson and tight end Vernon Davis.

Norman is going to miss his first game since the 2017 season.

Norman's absence is no surprise as he missed practice all week long with with both thigh and hand injuries. This comes as a big blow to a team that's been juggling players in the secondary all season long. It's expected that cornerbacks Fabian Moreau and Jimmy Moreland left to pick up the slack. Moreau will presumably play on the outside with Moreland playing the slot.

Thompson hurt his foot in Washington's lone win over the season in Week 6 over the Miami Dolphins. While he isn't the primary back, he is a perfect complement to starting running back Adrian Peterson and will be sorely missed in both passing and third down situations.

Vernon Davis is still suffering from a concussion sustained against the New York Giants two weeks ago and has yet to be cleared per protocol. Quarterback Colt McCoy, safety Deshazor Everett, linebacker Josh Harvey-Clemons and guard Wes Martin round out the rest of the Redskins inactive list.

On the other side, the 49ers will again be without both starting offensive tackles in Joe Staley and Mike McGlinchey. If Washington has any hope of pulling the upset, this is where it starts, by taking advantage of a downtrodden offensive line missing two lynchpins. The dynamic running game of the San Francisco will continue to miss fullback Kyle Juszczyk, as the 49ers prefer to use 21 personnel as much as any team in the league.

Seldom used, but talented rookie wide receiver Deebo Samuel will also be missing in action due to a groin injury. Other inactives for San Francisco include quarterback C.J. Beathard, cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon, and defensive lineman D.J. Jones.
