The Washington Commanders (3-4) eye revenge this weekend when the Philadelphia Eagles (6-1) come to town with a trip to FedEx Field.

It's the final meeting in the two-game series between the NFC East rivals, who played a tight match in Week 4 at Lincoln Financial Field. The Eagles came out on top 34-31 in overtime.

Quarterback Sam Howell knows his opponent well and he's offering praise to the NFC East leaders.

“The Eagles [are] definitely one of the best defenses in the league," Howell said. "They're doing a good job and they're doing a good job up front, obviously they have all those guys up front and I could sit here all day and name all those guys that they have."

One big difference between this week's matchup and the previous one is the Eagles will have a new face in the secondary in Pro Bowl safety Kevin Byard, whom the team traded for earlier this week.

"They have so much talent up there up front, and they have good players in the secondary, everyone's kind of starting to get back healthy and then they just signed [S Kevin Byard] the guy from Tennessee [Titans] who's a good player," Howell said. "So they definitely have all the players they need to be successful and they've been playing really well on defense the past few weeks. We'll definitely have our hands full.”

The Commanders and Eagles are set to kickoff at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at FedEx Field. The game can be watched on FOX.
