Washington Commanders Blown Out at Home vs. Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins beat the Washington Commanders by 30 on the road.

The Washington Commanders' losing streak has reached four games after a 45-15 loss to the Miami Dolphins on a rainy Sunday afternoon at FedEx Field.

The Commanders were doomed from the start, firing defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio before facing off against the No. 1 offense in the NFL, but regardless of who was on the sidelines, Washington had no answer for Tyreek Hill and the Miami offense.

Hill caught five passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns, but that wasn't all the Dolphins cooked up on Sunday.

The defense pitched in with an Andrew Van Ginkel pick-six at the end of the first quarter, a play that officially put the game into blowout territory.

Raheem Mostert also added a touchdown run from a yard out to make it 31-7 at halftime.

Even when the Dolphins rested some starters in the second half, they were still able to pull two touchdown runs from De'Von Achane.

Sam Howell prevented the game from being a shutout with two scoring drives that ended in him running the ball in himself, but he and the Commanders offense will have to go back to the drawing board once again this week.

At 4-9, the Commanders are going to begin the evaluation process for who should be here in 2024. But it's clear after a game like this that even more changes have to be made.

The Commanders will return after their Week 14 bye to play the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium on Dec. 17.
