Commanders' Ron Rivera 'Already Feels Impact' of New Owner Josh Harris

Josh Harris has immediately made his presence known after purchasing the Washington Commanders.
In this story:

It hasn't even been two weeks since Josh Harris officially became the owner of the Washington Commanders and his presence has been felt.

It all started with a pep rally the day after his $6.05 billion transaction was approved by the other 31 owners. Now, with training camp underway, fans are showing up in droves that haven't been seen in a very long time.

The feel around the organization with its fans and employees is already different than how it was before.

“I think it's pretty exciting. I really do. You can already feel the impact," Rivera said. "A lot of it has to do with just really the reaction from the fan base more so than anything else. I think our guys have also felt it. They felt it again because of the reaction to fan base. But what's really kind of neat and if you look outside, you see the setup for camp and the guys really, they're getting into this. It's kind of a unique feeling. It's exciting. I mean, I’m fired up about the opportunity as we go forward.”

Harris has big plans for the future and it appears the Commanders that we knew from last year and the past is not the same organization that will serve the community and take the field this fall and beyond.
