The Washington Commanders make the 2-hour trip north up I-95 to play the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. It's a divisional matchup with a rich history of "anything can happen" in a rivalry game that dates back to 1934 when the Commanders still called Boston home.

Washington is coming off a 37-3 shellacking by the Buffalo Bills in Week 3 in a game where Commanders quarterback Sam Howell threw four interceptions and was sacked nine times. It was just the sixth time since the Super Bowl era began in 1966 and the first time since 1995 that a defense sacked a signal caller nine-plus times and picked him off four-plus times.

“Practice had a lot of energy, a lot of high energy, and that was another good thing that’s important,” Commanders coach Ron Rivera said. “You got to be able to bounce back and get yourself refocused.

"This is a very good football team we’re playing. It really is. We’re going into a very tough environment as well, so we’ve got to rally around one another and make sure we understand what it takes.”

Philadelphia remains undefeated in the young season after a 25-11 win at Tampa last week, while still fresh on the mind of most Eagles players is the 32-21 loss to the Commanders last season that gave Philadelphia its first loss after an 8-0 start.
