WATCH: Dwayne Haskins multiple-highlight drive ends with low-ball TD catch
The reserves are going to work in Washington's final preseason game.
Dwayne Haskins isn't going to be the Redskins starter. He may not be their No. 2 quarterback. He is, however, their future at the position, and near the end of the first quarter he showed a glimpse of what that future could look like.
Washington started their drive at their own 25-yard line, down 3-0 and after a Baltimore punt. After a 14-yard completion to Cam Sims, Haskins connected on two explosive plays over 20 yards.
Then, near the goal line, he was able to remain poised and fire a pass to a diving Steve Sims, who brought the ball in for the score.
