The Washington Redskins inactive list is now official for the Monday Night Football game against the visiting Chicago Bears. In the secondary Quinton Dunbar remains out with a knee injury and tight end Jordan Reed has yet to recover from his most recent concussion.

There's never a good time for injuries, but if there were ever a time for a back end contributor to be missing in action, this would be it. Combining the return of third-year corner Fabian Moreau with, putting it mildy, the rocky performance to start the season of Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, this might be the game where the Redskins bounce back defensively.

Noticeably absent from the list is standout defensive lineman Jonathan Allen who missed the team's previous game with a knee injury. He returns alongside Daron Payne to help control the line of scrimmage. That Allen is playing should come as a surprise to no one, as he said he would this past Friday.

Other inactives for the Redskins are quarterback Colt McCoy who is still recovering from last year's broken leg, linebacker Cassanova McKinzy suffering from a hip ailment, rookie offensive linemen Ross Pierschbacher and Wes Martin, and journeyman defensive tackle T.Y. McGill.

On the Bears side, the biggest news is that RT Bobbie Massie is inactive. He apparently has a vertigo issue.
