Washington Redskins play their first game with Bill Callahan as their interim head coach against the Miami Dolphins in the battle of the winless.

The Washington Redskins have had a hectic week. From the firing of Jay Gruden, to announcing Bill Callahan as their interim coach and then team president Bruce Allen holding a questionable press conference. But the players still have a game to focus on.

The battle of the winless takes place during Week 6 with the Redskins and Miami Dolphins set to do battle. Washington will be looking to avoid an 0-6 start, something they haven’t done since the 1998 season. The teams will square off at 1:00 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast on local Fox affiliates.

There are many storylines to watch, but the biggest of any might be how will the Redskins look under a new regime.

Callahan has already indicated he is looking to commit to the run, something sure to make Adrian Peterson very happy. One also has to wonder how Kevin O"Connell will look calling the offensive plays. Many feel that he is next in a long line of promising young signal callers but was unable to show his worth under Gruden.

O’Connell been mentioned as a possible 2020 head coaching candidate.

The battle of the winless. One team is looking to get their first win of the season, or one team is looking to lose to stay on track for the 2020 number one overall pick in the NFL Draft.
