The Washington Commanders aren't giving up on their season just yet.

The Commanders are tied with the Dallas Cowboys 7-7 after Sam Howell tossed a 1-yard touchdown to running back Brian Robinson Jr.

The drive began after the Commanders special teams unit blocked a field goal attempt from Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey. Defensive back Jace Whittaker recovered it and ran it all the way down to the 20-yard line, setting the Commanders up in the red zone.

From there, it took the Commanders seven plays to get inside the end zone, where Robinson put Washington on the board.

It's Robinson's first touchdown since Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks. It's his ninth touchdown of the year (third receiving) and triples his total from his rookie season.

It's uncertain as to whether Howell will be the quarterback next season, but Robinson has certainly solidified his position as the feature back in the Washington offense.

The game is tied 7-7 early in the second quarter.
