Aaron Rodgers for Vice President? QB Can Beat Dallas Cowboys; Can He Beat Donald Trump and Joe Biden?

FRISCO - Aaron Rodgers has relatively speaking had little trouble beating most of his foes on the NFL field, including the Dallas Cowboys. Does that translate to the New York Jets QB being able to defeat President Joe Biden and Donald Trump on the way to the White House?

According to the New York Times, Rodgers has welcomed the overtures'' from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. about being his Vice Presidental running mate for an Independent bid at President later this year.

The Times story says that Kennedy is also attempting to lure former professional wrestler and Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura onto his team as Kennedy - the nephew of former President John F. Kennedy and the son of Robert F. Kennedy - puts together a run as an independent candidate.

Rodgers, 40, has become friendly with Kennedy in recent years, with the relationship largely forged by their skepticism of assorted policies of the United States government, including its handling of the COVID issue. Rodgers, who has publicly supported Kennedy's Presidential bid, recently suggested that the two men - who are anti-vaxxers - team up in a debate against Kansas City Chiefs' tight end Travis Kelce and former NIH Dr. Anthony Fauci to discuss the merits of COVID vaccine mandates.

Kennedy recently posted to his social media a photo of him going mountain hiking, where he was joined by Rodgers, the MVP QB of the Green Bay Packers who is now with the Jets. ... the NFL team that frankly might prefer that he focus not so much on conspiracy theories and VP runs and a bit more on his rehabbing of his Achilles in hopes of being ready for the Jets' season-opener in early September.
