Cowboys BREAKING: Dan Quinn OUT as Seahawks Candidate; Dallas vs. Washington?
FRISCO - Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn just got eliminated from another seat in the NFL game of “Musical Chairs.”
Does that mean he might stay in Dallas?
The Seattle Seahawks have made the franchise's first head-coaching hire in 14 years after the firing of Pete Carroll as they have hired Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald as head coach after a lengthy decision-making process.
Seattle and the Washington Commanders were the final two teams with a head-coaching vacancy. … with Quinn being a finalist in both spots. …
And now just a finalist in Washington, where he seems to be one of four Commanders possibilities.
Macdonald, 36, is a “fresh face” compared to Quinn, 53, who was a Super Bowl coordinator in Seattle previously in his fine career.
Quinn has been in Dallas for three seasons during which he’s overseen some of the best play-making defenses of the era.
