Cowboys Cousins! Keon Coleman Wants Dallas to Draft Him To Play Alongside Kin CeeDee Lamb

The Dallas Cowboys are turning their attention to "draft season'' with speculation that in addition to needs at inside linebacker and offensive tackle, a wide receiver could be selected with the No. 24 overall pick. ... and if the guy is Florida State receiver Keon Coleman?

It would be an all-in-the-family move. Why? Because, Coleman recently revealed, he just happens to be the cousin of present Dallas superstar receiver CeeDee Lamb.

"A dream come true!'' Keon said of the idea of hooking up with cousin CeeDee.

ceedee and keon

The 6-4, 216-pound Coleman is from Opelousas, Louisiana ... and yup, that's where Lamb was born as well. So that fits.

So might Coleman in the Dallas offense, has the impressive-framed receiver had 11 touchdowns on 50 catches for FSU last season. He wins 50/50 balls and he helped the Seminoles to a 12-1 season.

Oh, and Dallas icon Michael Irvin happens to be a huge fan.

The Cowboys got massive production last year from Lamb and his 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns. Brandin Cooks was a helper. Michael Gallup seems on the way out.

The Cowboys have needs elsewhere, and this is a deep receiver draft. (The latest top-50 prospect rankings from NFL.com draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah has 12 receivers listed.) Oh, and of course they can't just draft a kid because it's a cool family story. But "Cousin CeeDee'' and "Cousin Keon''? It is, for certain, a cool family story.
