FRISCO - Amari Cooper says his knee is "fine,'' and that physically he plans on being a "10'' by the time his Dallas Cowboys play host to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night. But for the moment? He is awaiting MRI results on his knee and is not practicing.

After Cooper's TD contribution in Monday's 37-18 win, the Pro Bowler pledged to be healthy in time for this Sunday’s showdown between the 5-3 Cowboys and 6-3 Vikings. But first, he is meeting with team doctors today after having an MRI on his knee Wednesday. He is not scheduled to practice today, according to coach Jason Garrett.

The Cowboys came into Thursday listing him as "limited'' and it's entirely possible that Cooper will end up being correct about the knee problem being "nothing'' and about his ability to be a "10'' come Sunday. But for now? Cooper, who has dealt with heel, ankle, quadriceps and now a knee issue awaits medical clearance with the plan to resume practice here inside The Star on Friday.
