Dak Prescott Vs. Josh Allen: Cowboys Demand ‘Same Treatment!’

At the this moment? The Cowboys’ Dak Prescott is the sort of quarterback that the Bills’ Josh Allen dreams of being.

FRISCO - It is being written that a Dallas Cowboys standout is “calling out” Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen for his turnover-plagued effort in Week 1.

But that is not Jayron Kearse’s intention when he asks on social media, “Are they gone give Mr. Allen the same treatment they’ll give my quarterback?”

That’s what Kearse wrote … and it’s not a poke at Allen. It’s a defense of Dak Prescott … and a fair and pointed questions for his off-base detractors.

Allen and Buffalo lost a 22-16 overtime game at New York even after the Jets had lost Aaron Rodgers to injury. And why?

Allen turned the ball over four times while throwing three interceptions while also breaking every pledge he’d made to his Bills bosses about being smarter with turnovers and with his trademark over-willingness to scramble into danger.

“Same (bleep),” said Allen, who took the blame for a loss that did indeed remind of 2022, when as good as the Bills were, Allen’s sloppiness - he threw 14 interceptions - hurt them.

Hey, wait. Allen, during the 2022 season, threw one fewer than Dak … but while Prescott throwing 15 interceptions in 2022 has “haters” accusing him of incompetence, Allen is an MVP candidate?

Fact is, Allen has committed 39 total turnovers over 19 games, and since entering the league in 2018, the Bills QB has the most turnovers of any active player.

Kearse’s point: Prescott played clean for Dallas in the 40-0 road trip win at the Giants … while Allen is blaming himself for his team’s loss. …

And so at this moment? Dak Prescott is the sort of quarterback that Josh Allen dreams of being.
