Cowboys BREAKING: Anthony Brown to Sign with Steelers

Cowboys ex Anthony Brown might again be healthy as he’s signing with the Steelers.

FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys long ago made the tough decision and moved on from Anthony Brown, who went down with a torn Achilles late last year, ending his season.

“I'm sick for him,'' Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said at the time.

But now there is a reason to be happy for Brown - the 2016 sixth-round pick who we have often labeled as “ballsy” for his willingness to fight through injuries - as he is signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

We know Brown - who was preparing to enter this offseason as a free agent and certainly receive a payday - has been working vigorously in rehab, even sometimes doing some of his rehab here in Frisco at team headquarters at The Star.

Dallas has made its decision on the 29-year-old Brown, having moved on to pay Trevon Diggs, with a trade for Stephon Gilmore and with snaps for DaRon Bland. But if “AB” has established that he’s again healthy? The Steelers will start him on their practice squad and will soon see they are receiving a "ballsy" roster asset.
