Dallas Cowboys BREAKING: Dan Quinn Sets Up 5 Coach Interviews with NFL Teams

FRISCO - Dan Quinn would be the first to tell you that the Dallas Cowboys being eliminated from the playoffs on Sunday in a 48-32 blowout at the hands of underdog Green Bay isn't going to add a page to his otherwise impressive resume.

Nor has that shocking outcome derailed the plans of at least four NFL teams who according to NFL sources have now scheduled virtual head-coaching job interviews with the highly-regarded Dallas defensive coordinator.

CowboysSI.com has learned that starting Wednesday, Quinn will launch a series of interviews, starting with the Carolina Panthers and the Tennessee Titans. Later in the week he is slated to visit with the Washington Commanders and the Los Angeles Chargers.

CowboysSI.com last week broke the story that the Seattle Seahawks - where he once coached as a top aide when they won the Super Bowl - has Quinn high on their "wish list.''

UPDATE: As of 3 p.m. Monday, Seattle has submitted its slip.

Will Dallas' awful effort against Green Bay impact Quinn chance of making his move? We are told that certainly in Seattle's case, the mutual tie has not changed.

Meanwhile, depending on what owner Jerry Jones opts to do with head coach Mike McCarthy here at The Star, the Cowboys would like to retain Quinn as well.

Quinn once took the Atlanta Falcons to the Super Bowl and since moving back into a coordinator role in Dallas have overseen one of the league's best playmaking groups. He is widely admired as a leader and a communicator and will now put those traits to use in four, and probably five, interviews.
