Dallas Cowboys BREAKING: Shaq Leonard Signs 1-Year Deal With Philadelphia Eagles
FRISCO - Maybe Shaq Leonard likes them more. Or maybe Shaq Leonard is needed by them more. But the tug-of-war decision is in, as of Monday, and the free agent linebacker has made his choice between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles.
And this Sunday night, when the two NFC powers clash? Leonard, the three-time Pro Bowler who has faded due to back surgeries but was still courted by both as a helper, has picked the Eagles.
The joke from those with knowledge inside the Eagles is that maybe they upped their offer to Leonard after their linebackers performed so poorly ass the Eagles were destroyed by the San Francisco 49ers, 42-19, at home on Sunday.
But CowboysSI.com has reported all along that this was never a financial "bidding war.'' It was, though, surely about snaps and about a chance at a Super Bowl ring.

Dallas could use some support because Leighton Vander Esch is out for the year; Philly truly does "need'' Leonard more.
