Dallas Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb, Demarcus Lawrence Sit Out Practice; O-Line Injury Update

FRISCO - If you choose to look at what happened with the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3 - a disturbing 28-16 loss at the Arizona Cardinals - with a wide-angle lens and a long-range focus?

Maybe there is something positive that will come from Chuma Edoga, Brock Hoffman and T.J. Bass being exposed to a baptism by fire as starting offensive linemen in place of Tyron Smith, Tyler Biadasz and Zack Martin.

And definitely there are positives to come from CeeDee Lamb and Demarcus Lawrence sitting out the Wednesday workout (vets rest day), as is the case here at The Star.

But in the immediacy of the loss, and the urgency for the 2-1 Cowboys to get things right in Week 4 as the New England Patriots are set to visit? Dallas' "to-do list'' to find answers at practice here inside The Star includes right up top some answers to the questions about the health of their offensive line.

Will all three be back this week? "It's possible, but we'll just have to see how the week goes," COO Stephen Jones told 105.3 The Fan on Monday.

And as of Wednesday? Coach Mike McCarthy is offering up info as best he can. … and then we visit practice and see Martin and Biadasz on the rehab cords and we don’t see Tyron at all.

The loss to the Cardinals wasn't "the fault'' of the offensive line or the changes that occurred, one of them on Sunday morning when it was determined that Tyron's knee wouldn't allow him to play. So he contributed nothing, along with Martin (ankle) and Biadasz (hamstring).

McCarthy has conceded that the Cowboys as a staff did not do enough emergency-level prep work for the backups last week. That is almost certaintly going to change starting on Wednesday because there remains a lack of clarity about the threesome's weekend availability.

"Is it possible?'' Jones said when asked about Tyron, Biadasz and Martin lining up together against the Patriots. "Yes. Do we know for sure? Absolutely not."
