Cowboys' Dak Owed Apology from Giants' Tiki for Goofy Daniel Jones '100' Take

What Tiki Barber said leading up to the Giants vs. Cowboys game on "Sunday Night Football,'' was that he would take Daniel Jones over Dak Prescott "100 out of 100 times" ... and he suggested his analysis was obvious. Oops.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - There is nothing especially wrong, coming into this NFL season, with thinking that New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is superior to Dallas Cowboys quarterback. Maybe Jones is viewed as being on the rise. Maybe Dak's NFL-worst 15 interceptions in 2022 is a haunting considertion.

Of course, media figure and former Giants running back Tiki Barber didn't just say before Week 1 that Jones is better than Dak.

What he said, leading up to the Giants vs. Cowboys game on "Sunday Night Football,'' was that he would take Jones over Prescott "100 out of 100 times" ... and he suggested his analysis was obvious.

Even without Sunday night's debacle, as Jones and the Giants were blown out by Prescott and the Cowboys, 40-0, no, Tiki, it is not a universally-held opinion that Jones is "100 times out of 100'' better than Prescott.

This win, as impressive as it was, did not serve as a showcase for Prescott and the Cowboys new "Texas Coast Offense.'' ... largely because Dallas so dominated the overwhelmed Jones - the Cowboys scoring two non-offensive TDs in the first quarter alone on the way to seven sacks, five forced fumbles and the shutout - that Dak and company were required to simply maintain and manage their way to a blowout.

Is Tiki Barber ignorant? Trying to be funny? Or just biased? Either way, there was egg on his face when he first said it ... and now his analysis looks so ridiculous that an apology may be due from Barber to Prescott and the Cowboys.
