But on the eve of Friday's rookie minicamp here inside The Star, bigger news: All of the Cowboys draft picks - Mazi Smith, Luke Schoonmaker, DeMarvion Overshown, Junior Fehoko, Asim Richards, Eric Scott Jr., Deuce Vaughn and Jalen Brooks - have signed their four-year contracts and should be ready to work.

More freshmen are on their way to town, as the Cowboys were active alongside the rest of their NFL brethren in rookie free agency.
