Cowboys Ex Ezekiel Workout with Bengals Ja’Marr Chase Moves Rumor Mill

Joe Mixon in trouble, Ezekiel Elliott in workout with Ja’Marr Chase. Let the Cowboys and Bengals rumor mill roll!

FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys have moved on.

Are  the Cincinnati Bengals moving in?

The AFC powerhouse Bengals have some issues (legal and otherwise) with Joe Mixon. Combine that with a member of the Bengals circle just posting an IG story featuring Cowboys ex Ezekiel Elliott and Cincy star Ja’Marr Chase and …

Let the rumor mill roll!

The video was shot at the EXOS performance facility in Frisco, near the Cowboys HQ at The Star, so it’s logical for Elliott to be hanging out in his own neighborhood as he stays in shape while job-seeking.

What’s Ja’Marr doing in the video? We will assume that not only is he friends with Elliott, but that they also have a connection via their agent.

Does this interaction and the gossip lead to a Cincy contract for Zeke?

The Bengals spoke immediately after Elliott’s release in March and gave no indication of interest …. Though we believe Elliott, who played at Ohio Stare, would love to go “home” while also helping out a Super Bowl contender.

In Cincy, Mixon is in trouble and his 2022 backup, Samaje Perine, signed with the Broncos in the offseason.

Does that mean the Joe Burrow-led Bengals have a vacancy? The former Cowboys star rushed for 12 TDs last year, and would fit that particular role (which is a Mixon specialty) nicely.

There is speculation that Elliott might have to wait until after the NFL Draft for interest to heat up. In the meantime, he’s staying in shape along with some maybe-future Bengals teammates.
