Cowboys Suites: Ezekiel Elliott & Cavinder Twins for Dak Prescott, Dallas vs. Packers
As the Dallas Cowboys look to start a lengthy postseason run, a former star from their recent past is in attendance to watch their Wild Card Weekend matchup with the Green Bay Packers.
Running back Ezekiel Elliott will watch Sunday's Cowboys-Packers game from one of quarterback Dak Prescott's suites, according to Jane Slater of NFL Media.
Oh, and Jake Ferguson has his guests, too … the Cavinder twins!
Elliott and Prescott built a strong bond during seven seasons together in Dallas. Elliott was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, and would finish second in Offensive Rookie of the Year voting that season, rushing for an NFL-leading 1,631 yards. He finished second in the race for OROY to Presccott, who tossed 23 touchdowns to four interceptions in his rookie campaign, starting the whole season in place of an injured Tony Romo after being selected in the fourth round of the NFL Draft.
Dallas went 13-3 in 2016, earning a first-round bye in the NFC playoffs. However, they lost in the NFC Divisional Round to the Packers, 34-31. Green Bay looks entirely different this time around, as do the Cowboys in many respects. But Prescott under center is something that's consistent between the two matchups. And Elliott's presence at AT&T Stadium -- albeit in an entirely different capacity -- is one of the other overlapping themes between the two Packers-Cowboys playoffs tilts. Seven years later, perhaps Elliott will be able to witness Prescott and the Cowboys take a key step by beating the Packers to move onto the NFC Divisional Round.
