Cowboys 'Grinch' Micah Parsons Vows to Steal Christmas from Dolphins Tua & Tyreek
FRISCO - When reviewing most anything Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons does on Twitter - and the "Lion-backer'' does a lot on Twitter - context is critical. He's outspoken and he's assertive and he's witty ...
And this week, he stands accused by buddy Tyreek Hill of trying to be a "motivational speaker.'' As a result of that?
Micah Parsons is now "The Grinch Who'll Steal Christmas from the Miami Dolphins.'' The backstory ...
On Friday afternoon, Parsons shared a photo of him working out with former Rams Pro Bowl offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth. And Micah offered a public thank you.
"Big shout to the big guy Andrew Whitworth for taking out the time in his week to help me grow as an player! We will only grow from those who have accomplished what we seek," Parsons tweeted.
Dolphins wide receiver Hill - one of the fastest athletes on the planet who in the past has had some fun engaging in footraces with Parsons - tried to poke some fun at Parsons' post, saying, "So now you (are a) motivational speaker? I’m confused."
Good stuff. But do you think Parsons is going to let Hill win with that crafty quip? Then you don't know Parsons, as instead, the All-Pro defender issued a warning to Hill, and to Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who will be playing for the home team on Christmas Eve when Dallas visits south Florida on the just-released 2023 NFL schedule.
"Yeah! Keep up with them Twitter fingers only person will pay is Tua!!! I’ll see you Christmas Eve!! There only going to be one grinch who stole Christmas," Parsons tweeted.
That game between two likely playoff contenders was already going to be high-profile and full of fun angles. But now? Micah as the Grinch and the Dolphins as the citizens of Who-Ville? You're a mean one, Mr. Parsons.
