Dallas Cowboys Bad News 'Game-Time Decisions'? Tyron Smith, Zack Martin, Biadasz Week 3 Injury Status - "Expected to be Inactive''

The Dallas Cowboys believe they have the roster depth in their secondary to survive the season-ending injury loss of Trevon Diggs, reason enough for them not presently actively shopping for help there.

But how does a team have enough roster depth to deal with the possibility of three of its five offensive line starters dealing with injuries as kickoff approaches, as is the case for the Cowboys before their Week 3 game Sunday at the Arizona Cardinals?

On Saturday, the Cowboys listed offensive lineman Tyron Smith as questionable with a knee injury that just came up this weekend. Smith is the third starting offensive lineman to be listed as questionable, along with Zack Martin and Tyler Biadasz.

Martin is dealing with an ankle injury and he did not practice all week, while Biadasz has a hamstring issue that developed on Thursday at practice, the same day Diggs injured his knee.

As of Sunday morning, the Cowboys - who will look to move to 3-0 this weekend, the first time they will have started a season with three straight wins since 2019 - believed that Tyron would likely be good to go, while Martin and Biadasz would be closer to "game-time decisions.'' ... meaning that some two-man combo of journeyman Chuma Edoga, practice-squadder Brock Hoffman and UDFA rookie T.J. Bass could play key roles here.

And now NFL Network is reporting that Martin and Biadasz are "expected to be inactive.''

All of this also comes on the heels of starting guard Tyler Smith having been absent from game-day work in recent weeks with a hamstring, though he was not on the late-week injury report this time around.

Dallas has outscored its foes 70-10 in two games and the matchup against the 0-2 Cardinals looks like a favorable one for the Cowboys ... though the O-line concerns might add some vulnerability to the 12-point favorites.
