Dallas Cowboys’ Micah Parsons Destroys ESPN on Trevon Diggs Injury Report

Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons is standing up for “America’s Team” by roasting ESPN for mocking Trevon Diggs and his season-ending knee injury.

FRISCO - Micah Parsons is standing up for “America’s Team” and pal Trevon Diggs by calling out an ESPN analyst for mocking Diggs and his season-ending knee injury.

"Wtf?? He ole hating (butt) hold head!! Lame asf," Parsons wrote on social media. “This why I really don’t like talking to dudes in the media!! As a former player you are a lame asf bro! Just facts joking bout a man trying to feed his family and building a legacy! ESPN gotta stop letting corn balls on tv!!”

The ESPN offender? Bart Scott, the former NFL player who tried to get cute in his “analysis” of the Dallas Cowboys’ loss of the Pro Bowl cornerback Diggs.

In a spot where Scott could’ve offered first-hand knowledge of what a team can do in these situations, or where he could have detailed the talents of Dallas’ other corners, or could’ve simple wished Diggs well in his recovery process, Scott went with …

“Like Stephen A. (Smith) always says, 'Just wait, something bad always happens.'"

That’s not especially clever when Smith screams it; it’s no more “always something (bad)” for Dallas than it is for 31 other teams who annually fall short of a Super Bowl title.

But in this situation? Scott and ESPN again attempting to be “funny” instead of being a news organization rightfully earns scorn from Micah Parsons … and, we will argue, should earn the same from anyone involved in football who considers themselves at all serious-minded.
