Dallas Cowboys' Micah Parsons Savagely Trolled by Cardinals QB Josh Dobbs
FRISCO - When the Dallas Cowboys were undefeated, it felt fun and funny for team leaders like Micah Parsons to make bold and colorful proclamations.
But as it turns out, unheralded quarterback Josh Dobbs is the one who gets the last laugh.
Going into Sunday afternoon's Week 3 meeting at State Farm Stadium in Arizona, Dallas stood as 12-point favorites ... and led by Micah, the Cowboys sort of acted that way.
On an episode of The Edge With Micah Parsons ahead of the Week 3 matchup, the All-Pro edge rusher announced that he was putting Dobbs “on a bulletin board” and “throwing darts” at him.
That's not exactly an attempt to belittle or destroy the Cardinals ... but it does mark a continuation of Parsons' and the Cowboys' boastful nature. After all, Micah has announced that the Cowboys defense is the "best in the NFL,'' has announced a personal goal not just of winning Defensive Player of the Year but of winning MVP, and has announced that Dallas is going to the Super Bowl.
But this time around? The Arizona signal-caller, a journeyman playing in place of the injured Kyler Murray, had the last laugh, leading Arizona to its first win of the season before producing an epic trolling response to Parsons' "dart'' talk.
In the follow-up of Arizona's stunning 28-16 win over Dallas, Dobbs posted a video on TikTok featuring him pantomiming the dodging of Parsons' “darts” ... and then concluded the segment by saying, “Go Cards.”
No bragging. No mention of Dobbs' humbling of what was one of the NFL’s most elite defenses? No bragging about completing 17-for-21 passes with one touchdown in Arizona’s win.
Just a "dart dance.'' ... which says it all about Arizona vs. Dallas in Week 3.
