Dallas Cowboys’ Micah Parsons Slam-Dunk MVP In NBA Celebrity All-Star Game

Micah Parsons has spoken often and boldly about wishing to win MVP.

And now he’s done it … kinda. But no, not in the NFL, but rather, in the NBA.

The Dallas Cowboys star captured NBA Celebrity All-Star game MVP honors on Friday by pouring in 37 points, 16 rebounds, four steals - and some spectacular plays that featured the 6-3, 245-pound “Lion-backer” playing above the rim in Team Shannon Sharpe’s 100-91 victory over Team Stephen A. Smith.

Parsons - who in high school back in Pennsylvania was a superstar football player and wrestler but also a surprisingly agile basketball standout - attacked the rim and dazzled in other ways as well in the warmup act to this weekend’s actual All-Star Game.

Dallas Mavs stars Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving are scheduled to play in Sunday’s featured event.
