Cowboys 'Panic'? Tony Pollard On Dallas 'Not Going Haywire' After Loss

The San Francisco 49ers soundly beat the Dallas Cowboys, but as Mike McCarthy's team prepares to face the Los Angeles Chargers, Tony Pollard says there's no panic inside the locker room.

The postmortem from the Dallas Cowboys' 42-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers has been completed. Now, attention turns to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night when Dallas will come up against its former offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

But such was the gravity of the loss to the 49ers, many have a fear that the feelings from that will carry over into their next game against the Chargers.

So, what does Cowboys running back Tony Pollard see in the locker room after such a brutal loss?

“Guys not panicking, not trying to do too much, not going haywire or things like that,” Pollard said. “Guys just locking in, focusing up, blocking out the distractions, just getting ready for this week.”

With the Cowboys now losing their second game for the year, they will have to pick themselves up off the canvas to get ready for the challenges that the Chargers present.

Despite the 42-10 loss to the 49ers, Cowboys running back Tony Pollard insists there's no panic in the locker room.

For some, that's easier said than done, but for Pollard, the playing group is using what it learned from the loss to the Arizona Cardinals to help get themselves back on track in Los Angeles.

“Just like earlier in the year when we had our loss, it's always big, flush it out, come back the next week, get that win, and stop the negative energy," Pollard said.

The negative energy was everywhere after the 49ers loss. No one in the organization was spared as it was the Cowboys' chance to show they were a force to be reckoned with.

Instead, perhaps the team's worst performance in recent memory followed and if Dallas manages to drop the game against the Chargers in a similar manner, it is going to be difficult to stop the tidal wave of negative emotions from engulfing the locker room.

And if that happens, then the panic button at The Star won't be getting gently tapped, it will be getting a good old-fashioned bludgeoning.
