Dallas Cowboys Predicted to Beat San Francisco 49ers; Why? 'The Due Theory'! VIDEO

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The numbers, quite frankly, do not add up in a way that favors the Dallas Cowboys. That applies to what the oddsmakers say about "Sunday Night Football'' as the San Francisco 49ers are moments away from playing host to "America's Team.''

And it applies in another way: So many of the things the 3-1 Cowboys do well, statistically, are matched or exceeded by the very same things the undefeated 49ers do well.

So if we're trying to avoid homerism while still harboring a belief that this is (finally) a winnable game for Dallas, what do we use as a foundation?

We use what I call "The Due Theory.'' That's it. Dallas 20, San Francisco 17 ... because the Cowboys - having lost two straight playoff games to the powerful Niners are themselves too powerful to continue to repeat the same errors that have plagued them in what were, revision history be damned, actually fairly close games.

So ... the Cowboys are "due''? That's my foundation? Yup. That's it ... as I break down below in our CowboysSI.com pregame show ...

Here, the inactives and injuries for the game, along with "The Five Keys.''

Here, our week wrap-up Fish Report Special from San Fran: Trust Big Mike, Healthy Best 5, CeeDee's Story, Gregory GONE ... and below, our "official pregame show'' from Levi's Stadium just before kickoff here in the Bay Area!
