Cowboys Cost For WR Jerry Jeudy Trade? Broncos Want 1st-Round Pick - Rumor
FRISCO - Did the price just get raised?
That's the new question to follow up our earlier one from this week, which goes something like this: "Will the Dallas Cowboys again go after a Jerry Jeudy trade with the Denver Broncos?''
The Cowboys were interested in trading for Jerry Jeudy at the trade deadline last season, but the report of Denver wanting more than a second-round pick scared them off.
And now? The Athletic reports that Denver wants "at least a first-round pick.''
That seems ... high.
Yet, that hasn't stopped the Broncos from continuing to shop Jeudy. ... or Courtland Sutton (who seems to want out) .. or maybe K.J. Hamler.
The Cowboys' need at receiver has been well-documented and is evidenced by their long pursuit of free agent Odell Beckham Jr. If Jeudy is truly available, Dallas should be infatuated yet again.
The former first-round selection is coming off his best year as a pro, recording 972 yards and six touchdowns on 67 receptions, making Jeudy a lone bright light in an otherwise disastrous season for the Broncos.
But the real question of a trade comes down to what the asking price is on Denver's side. And if the price just went up? The price likely just became more prohibitive.
