Cowboys vs. Lions Referees: NFL Reveals Punishment for Brad Allen Crew Goofs
FRISCO - Some Dallas Cowboys fans often suggest that somehow, someway, the National Football League and its officials are "out to get'' the 'Boys from "America's Team'' - with the griping even coming after a win, as was the case Saturday at AT&T Stadium as Dallas hung on to a 20-19 victory over Detroit.
But the Lions - who actually lost - also think they have a gripe. And the NFL has reportedly decided to agree with that ... by opting for punishment for Brad Allen's officiating crew.
The Allen-led officiating crew called a penalty on the Lions' go-ahead 2-point conversion late in the fourth quarter, in the eyes of Detroit directly costing the Lions a win.

"No (bleeping) way!'' screamed Lions coach Dan Campbell when the score was erased.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the veteran official Allen and his crew are to receive punishment in the form of ... being demoted out of the playoffs rotation.
"Brad Allen's referee crew is expected to be downgraded and out for 2024 NFL Playoffs,'' Schefter reported.
