Following their embarrassing loss to the New York Jets, the Dallas Cowboys return home to take on their NFC East Rival Philadelphia Eagles in primetime at 7:20 p.m. CT on NBC.
Now 3-3, Dallas will look to get back into the win column and take control of the division back into their own hands.
The Eagles, who also enter the game at 3-3, have just as much at stake as the Cowboys heading into the matchup, and with Jalen Mills' return giving their much-maligned secondary a boost, the Eagles will be ready to go as well.
That said, Eagles head coach Doug Peterson already guaranteed victory earlier in the week when he spoke Angelo Cataldi on the SportsRadio 94WIP Morning Show.
"We’re going down to Dallas, and our guys are going to be ready to play," Peterson said. "And we’re going to win that football game and when we do we’re in first place in the NFC East. We control our own destiny. We’re right where we need to be. Has it been perfect or beautiful or all of that? No. But all we’ve got to do is try to be 1-0 this week, beat the Dallas Cowboys, and we’re in first place."
Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence responded to Peterson's comments, by telling the coach that he "He might want to shut his ass up and stay on the sidelines."
Whatever the case may be, the Cowboys will be getting a big boost of their own with Tyron Smith, La'el Collins, Byron Jones, Amari Cooper, and Randall Cobb all designated as active for the Sunday night tilt, after each of them was listed as questionable throughout the week with injury concerns.

1st Quarter
The Eagles started with the football, and after a quick first down, Dallas Goedert was stripped by Jaylon Smith. Maliek Collins recovered the fumble at midfield, giving the Cowboys starting position in opponent's territory for the first time all season.
The Cowboys capitalized on the great field position, moving quickly with the ground attack. Tavon Austin finished off the drive with a 20-yard touchdown run to put the Cowboys up 7-0 with 10 minutes to go in the first quarter.
On the second play of the next Eagles drive, DeMarcus Lawrence went one on one with Lane Johnson, and beat him to Carson Wentz, causing a strip-sack.
The Cowboys recovered deep in Eagles territory, and on the very next play, Dak Prescott handed the ball to Zeke Elliott up the middle for a 13-yard gain down to the one. Zeke would take the ball in from the one, making the score 14-0 Dallas with 8:56 to go in the first half.
The Cowboys had a chance to get off the field with a three and out, but Jaylon Smith was called for a roughing the passer penalty, extending the drive. The drive would be extended even further with an unnecessary roughness penalty on Xavier Woods just two plays later. Dallas Goedert would cap off the impressive Eagles drive with a 28-yard touchdown catch, cutting the Cowboy lead in half at 14-7.
The Cowboys started their next drive with a big pass completion to Randall Cobb on third and eight, that they followed with a nine-yard run by Ezekiel Elliott, and another big completion to Amari Cooper to get the ball quickly into Eagles territory. The Eagles would get after Prescott from there though, and forced a punt.
2nd Quarter
The Cowboys stood tall on the next Eagles possession, forcing a three-and-out and a punt. They started their next drive at the Eagles 30-yard-line.
Ezekiel Elliott started the next drive with a first down run. After the drive stalled at midfield, Dallas rolled the dice and went for it on fourth down, converted, and kept the drive alive. After a holding call negated an Amari Cooper touchdown, Dallas got the yardage right back with a long completion from Prescott to Randall Cobb to the one-yard line. Prescott capped off the drive with a 1-yard toss to Blake Jarwin, putting the Cowboys up 21-7 in with 6:40 to go in the second quarter.
The Eagles' next drive would end almost as soon as it began, with the Cowboy defense forcing another change of possession, that used a Jourdan Lewis sack as an exclamation point.
With just over two minutes to go in the half, Dallas started their next drive fast, hitting Amari Cooper on a 44-yard completion. Elliott then nearly hit a home run with a 16-yard gain, but after that, the Cowboys stalled in Eagle territory and were forced to settle for a short field goal, extending their lead to 24-7 with 1:31 to go in the half.
The Cowboys defense then forced the Eagles into a quick three and out, giving the offense the ball back with just 22 seconds to go in the half. After some quick hits to Jason Witten on the boundaries, the Cowboys got themselves into position for a 63-yard field goal attempt, which Brett Maher hit to put Dallas up 27-7 going into the locker room.
3rd Quarter
The Cowboys got the ball back to start the second half but were stopped before they could get anything going, and were forced to punt.
The Eagles were able to move the ball on their next drive, taking it deep into the Dallas red zone. Thanks to a Lane Johnson illegal hands to the face penalty though, they were pushed back, and the Cowboys were able to hold them to a field goal attempt. Jake Elliott nailed the 38-yard attempt, cutting the Dallas lead to 27-10.
When Dallas got the ball back for their next opportunity, they used the short passing game to move the ball into Philadelphia territory quickly.
4th Quarter
The Cowboys continued the drive to start the fourth, and on the first play of the quarter, Prescott hit Cooper for a 38-yard gain down the right sideline. The Eagles would hold from there, however, forcing the Cowboys into their third field goal attempt of the night. Maher would hit the attempt, putting Dallas up 30-10 with 12:36 to go.
The Eagles' hole would only get deeper from there when Carson Wentz was intercepted by Xavier Woods at midfield. Woods took the ball across midfield and into Eagles territory, putting the Cowboys in prime territory at the Philadelphia 38-yard-line to start their next possession.
Unfortunately for Dallas, however, Prescott would give the ball right back to Philadelphia on the very next play when he was intercepted in the end zone by Jalen Mills.
Two plays later, Carson Wentz mishandled the shotgun snap, turning the ball over for the fourth time in the game, and giving Dallas the ball inside his team's red zone. Dak Prescott would take advantage of the Eagles turnover with a 7-yard touchdown run, putting the Cowboys up 37-10 with 9:33 to go in the game.
The Eagles were able to drive into Cowboy territory on their next outing but were stopped on fourth down with a near-interception from linebacker Sean Lee. The Cowboys came up empty on the next drive, but drained few critical minutes of clock time, putting the game out of reach.
