Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard hasn't lived up to his own expectations this season, but he is making an impact for his team against the Washington Commanders.

In the second quarter against the Commanders, Pollard scored his first touchdown since Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks.

Here's a look at the play ...

Pollard took over this year as the No. 1 back when Ezekiel Elliott was cut, a move which was born of success over the course of the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Pollard became known as one of the most electric and efficient running backs in the NFL as he averaged 5.5 yards per carry in 2021 and 5.2 yards per carry in 2022 - making the Pro Bowl and winning himself a one-year, $10 million contract.

But this year? So far this season he's averaging just four yards per carry ... sort of the NFL norm.

Perhaps Pollard will be able to build some momentum with this touchdown as the Cowboys look towards the playoffs next week.

The Cowboys hold a 14-10 lead with two minutes remaining in the first half.
