DeAndre Hopkins to Dallas: 'Talk to Me!' Amid Cowboys Trade Rumors - WATCH

DeAndre Hopkins being recruited to Dallas? "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do!'' writes Dez Bryant, forever a Cowboys guy.

FRISCO - Once again, Arizona Cardinals All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is hanging out in DFW with Dez Bryant ...

And once again, the trade rumors involving Hopkins' escape from the Cardinals - maybe to the Dallas Cowboys - are afloat ...

"Talk to me!'' said Hopkins on Monday as he communicated on a social media live stream with Dez Bryant, the former Cowboys star who seems to be "recruiting'' Hopkins to The Star.

We know for certain now that Arizona has the All-Pro receiver on the trade block and we know that he is under contract for two more years with the Cardinals.

What would the price of such a trade be? CowboysSI.com is increasingly willing to believe that the Cardinals might be in salary-dump mode, and indeed, even if that is so, the Cardinals will have to eat some dead money in a trade.

Hopkins’ cap hits would be $19.5 million in 2023 and $14.9 million in 2024 over that time with an average annual salary of about $27 million.

There is speculation that it might take something less than a first-round pick to pry the five-time All-Pro Hopkins from the Cardinals. And of course, while there will obiously be other bidders, Hopkins is certainly aware of the impression being created by spending the last two weekends or so hanging out in DFW, as was the case last weekend in Lewisville and now again in Cowboys Country.

And what about Dez "recruiting''?

"A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do!'' writes Bryant, forever a Cowboys guy.

We're still not convinced the Cowboys themselves are grinding away at the much-ballyhooed "big, big move,'' as is rumored. But we know Dez Bryant is hard at work.
