Dez Bryant on Cowboys Camp Conflict: 'Are You a Dawg or a B****?'

“I love it ... make or break type s***!!'' Dez Bryant says of the Cowboys' "Dak vs. Diggs'' trash talk. "Your either going to be dawg or a b**** - it ain’t no in between LFG!''

We remain absolutely stunned at the level of ignorance displayed by those who refuse to understand that trash-talking is part of the intensity of sports - whether its a pickup basketball game in the driveway against your buddy or a Super Bowl against an "enemy.''

And that includes the competitiveness inside an NFL training camp, as put on display this week when Dallas Cowboys pals Dak Prescott and Trevon Diggs engaged in a war of words, with the media microphones telling his quarterback, "Shut your b**** a** up!''

Newsflash: Diggs and Prescott are friends. Their "conflict'' is normal training camp and practice field behavior. And if you don't believe us ... ask former Cowboys star Dez Bryant, who lived it ... as evidenced by his tweet.

“I love it 😍 ❤️ make or break type s***!!'' Bryant tweeted. "Your either going to be dawg or a b**** - it ain’t no in between LFG 🚀”

We watched every practice Bryant ever engaged in as a Cowboy. And yes, he engaged in physical and mental "warfare'' with teammates. (Who can forget, "You can't guard me! And you can't guard me! And you can't guard me!)

So, by the way, did Jason Witten, who it might surprise you to know, might be the funniest/meanest trash-talker to his own teammates in franchise history.

This is ultra-competitive stuff, brother-against-brother. It is in no way indicative of a problem ... in fact, it's the opposite. Trevon Diggs cares so much about winning an early-August rep in training camp that he's motivated to dog-cuss Prescott over it?

That's not "disrespect,'' as so many have erroneously claimed. That's football, with - as Dez says - a particular play resulting in a winner (the "dawg'') and a loser (the "b****.'') And as soon as a team is absent of that attitude, whether it's about what is said, thought or felt?

That's when a team has a problem. And what Diggs, Dak and Dez are telling us is, this Dallas Cowboys team does not have that absence and therefore does not have that problem.
