Eagles React to Dallas Cowboys' Micah Parsons: 'Taking On Hell with a Squirt Gun!'
FRISCO - The general and tried-and-true method of back-and-forth evaluation when it comes to the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles is about a certain level of edginess, even nastiness.
But Dallas star Micah Parsons has been respectful of the Eagles, both before and after Sunday's nail-biting 28-23 loss at Philly. ... having characterized them as the NFL's best team and having "no weaknesses.''
And now, after making five career starts against Micah, the Eagles' All-Pro tackle Lane Johnson is countering that nicety with another compliment in response.
What it's like, Lane, to go one-on-one with Parsons?
"It's like taking on hell with a squirt gun,'' Johnson cleverly replied.
Parsons certainly got his share of numbers here, finishing with nine tackles, three quarterback hits and 1.5 sacks. He also believes he got held illegally at times in ways that prevented bigger numbers and more big plays.
But in the end, the Eagles keep winning and are now 8-1. And the Cowboys must keep chasing as they are 5-3.

Johnson said of his NFC East-leading Eagles, "We're not satisfied. We know we have a lot of big games coming up.''
And Micah Parsons would like to remind everyone that one of those "big games coming up'' is a rematch of this classic, in Week 14 at AT&T Stadium.
“I’m not even going to spit fuel in the fire,'' said Micah, with what we will assume is his own version of "Hell vs. Squirt Gun.'' We’ll see them again in four weeks.”
