Jalen Ramsey 'Amazing!' BREAKING: Cowboys OUT on Trade; Dolphins Getting Rams CB
FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys front office has made a verbal commitment to Cowboys Nation to add "name'' talent to the roster this offseason.
But while the Cowboys are talking about it ... the Miami Dolphins just did it again, as the Los Angeles Rams are making a move on the trade market just before free agency by moving off of All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey by trading him to the Miami Dolphins.
The cost? The Rams get a 2023 third-round pick and tight end Hunter Long.
According to NFL Network, the Rams have finalized the deal of Ramsey to Dolphins as Miami spends a second straight offseason loading up (last spring their roster was altered by the blockbuster trade for receiver Tyreek Hill from the Chiefs) ... while the Rams, Super Bowl champs two seasons ago, are in a rebuilt.
There have been weeks of speculation that Ramsey wanted to be traded and there have been weeks of speculation that the Rams wanted the same. Along with that, there has been buzz - never really acknowledged by Cowboys officials - that Dallas might want in on this as well.
Ramsey, the perennial Pro Bowler, took to social media to describe his feelings toward the deal ...
"God is so amazing!'' Ramsey wrote.
Dallas' secondary is led by another top-notch cornerback in Trevon Diggs, and the Cowboys will be shopping for more help opposite him. But the Jalen Ramsey Sweepstakes is over before it ever really began for other potential suitors ... and the Miami Dolphins have loaded up once again.
