Micah Parsons ‘Sick to My Stomach’ As Eagles Draft Jalen Carter

Dallas Cowboys' All-Pro Micah Parsons is frustrated to see the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles land Jalen Carter.

Micah Parsons was once a steal for the Dallas Cowboys as he lasted until the 12th pick of the 2021 NFL Draft. And now maybe the Philadelphia Eagles have gotten a steal, too, as they landed Jalen Carter with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft on Thursday.

But while Parsons was delighted by the 2021 result, this one creates a different reaction. Parsons is admitting that the Eagles landing Carter to replace Javon Hargrave made him "sick to my stomach":

At 6-3, 310, Carter is one of the most physically-gifted players in the 2023 NFL Draft class. In his final season at Georgia, Carter racked up 32 total tackles, seven tackles for a loss, three sacks, three pass deflections and two forced fumbles. There is a great deal of baggage there - otherwise he might've been the No. 1 overall pick. But in any event, if the Eagles get him steered in the right direction, as Carter will join a defensive line that also includes his former college teammate Jordan Davis, along with Fletcher Cox, Haason Reddick, Brandon Graham, Josh Sweat, Kentavius Street and Derek Barnett?

It'll be his job to make Parsons' reaction a commonplace one for the Cowboys in the NFC East.
