Michael Irvin $100 Million Lawsuit: Where's Marriott Response to Cowboys Icon?
FRISCO - Michael Irvin's $100 million lawsuit against the Marriott Hotel company and a "Jane Doe'' accusing him of misconduct insists the Dallas Cowboys legend is innocent of the charges.
And - while Marriott has yet to respond - it can be argued, eyewitnesses and hotel-lobby video indicate the same thing.
TMZ has interviewed a pair of people who say they were present when Irvin’s supposed inappropriate conduct on Sunday at an Arizona hotel occurred - or, rather, they say, did not occur.
Said one: Irvin and an unnamed female had “a positive, friendly conversation. They had a brief interaction, it was 30, 40 seconds, he kept his distance at all times, stood about a meter away from her, they ended with a handshake and he literally turned around and went to the lift.”
Added another witness who was in the hotel bar with Irvin: "Somebody that worked there, I don’t know if it was a waitress or a bartender, came up and said, ‘Hey Michael Irvin.’ And he said, ‘Oh, nice to meet you, I’m Michael’ and shook her hand. The crazy part was it was like a 30-second interaction. It could’ve been a minute. I didn’t really think much of it ‘cause it was just a fan kind of thing.”

Irvin has said he is "baffled'' by the allegation - which caused NFL Network and ESPN to pull him off the air for Super Bowl Week - and has filed a $100 million lawsuit in Collin County (Texas) court.
