Cowboys’ Micah Parsons Tops NFL Jersey Sales List

Micah Parsons had the NFL's best-selling jersey from sports apparel retailer Lids during the 2023 season.

FRISCO - Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons' popularity is indisputable. … and as proof: Parsons had the NFL's best-selling jersey from sports apparel retailer Lids during the 2023 season.

Parsons even topped Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who ranked No. 2. The charismatic quarterback has led the Chiefs to Super Bowl four times in the last five years.

Some of Parsons' popularity comes from his honesty on social media and his podcast.

Being a star on "America's Team" comes with ever-present attentions, high expectations and a lot of opinions. No one shoulders more blame that quarterback Dak Prescott, who has the fifth best selling jersey on the list.

One notable name included in the data: Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who played four snaps in 2023 for the New York Jets, is on the list. One notable name not on the list is Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Kelce is one of the best tight ends in league history and is dating Pop megastar Taylor Swift.

A peek into Parsons' individual regular season stats is impressive: Parsons tallied a career-best 103 pressures, which led the league. He also pressured quarterbacks on 20.1 percent of his pass rushes, first among all NFL defenders. He is a candidate for NFL Defensive Player Of The Year, along with teammate Da'Ron Bland.

As far as teams go, the Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers were the top two teams in merchandise sales.
