QB Contracts List: Kyler Murray Jumps Over Cowboys Dak Prescott Deal

Prescott has been bumped down to the No. 7 slot among NFL QB salaries.

FRISCO - A year ago, when Dak Prescott signed a contract that would pay him $40 million APY, some Dallas Cowboys watchers were outraged. 

"What, exactly, had he accomplished to be paid at that lofty level?'' And then there was the counter-argument: "In time, $40 million APY won't seem all that high.''

And here we are, with Thursday's deal in the desert for Kyler Murray, who has a new extension from the Arizona Cardinals that will pay him $46 million APY ... and in the process causing the DFW kid and Cowboys nemesis to leapfrog Dak on Over The Cap’s top 10 list of the highest paid quarterbacks in the league. ... Which reads like this:

Prescott, as you can see, has been bumped down to the No. 7 slot. That doesn't end the "is-he-worth-it'' debates. Rather, it actually simply adds Kyler Murray to the exact same debates.
