WATCH: Jake Ferguson TD Ends Cowboys Nightmare Half; Can Dak Prescott Lead Comeback vs. Packers?
In a game bordering on becoming an outright catastrophe for the Dallas Cowboys saw them end the first half with a sign of having a pulse ... albeit feint, as they trail the Green Bay Packers 27-7.
After showing no sign of life through the first 28 minutes of play, the Cowboys offense found themselves in a "do or die" moment right before the half, trailing the Packers 27-0. The Cowboys needed a touchdown to keep even the slightest amount of hope alive.
That is what they got as a struggling Dak Prescott led the Cowboys on a 55-yard drive that spanned 12 plays as he found Jake Ferguson for a one-yard score.
Prescott completed six of his eight passes for 26 yards, as he not only managed to find the endzone but connected with star receiver CeeDee Lamb for the first time of the game on a 10-yard strike that moved the Cowboys to the Green Bay one-yard line.

The inability of Prescott and Lamb to get on the same page has been the story of the game for the Cowboys offense that, minus the two-minute drive to end the half, has been shut down.
Thanks to the Packers winning the opening coin toss and electing to receive, the Cowboys will get the ball first and have a chance to score on back-to-back drives.
