But some of the realities from the legendary coach’s time leading the Dallas Cowboys from when he let his guard down and from when he let his hair down? (Figuratively, of course!)

As someone who began his coverage of the Cowboys right about the time Jimmy and owner Jerry Jones began their “turning the thing around” reign in Dallas? A big part of my 34 years on the best is the cherishing of interactions with and stories of Johnson that go beyond the intimidating persona … and reveal a “warm” side to the Hall of Famer who on Saturday at AT&T Stadium will be inducted into the Cowboys Ring of Honor.
