Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles: Really 'For All The Marbles'? Devil is in the Details (And the Desert) - FISH PODCAST

FRISCO - It feels huge. Like, "for all the marbles'' huge.

But the NFL standings tell a different tale about what the Dallas Cowboys' coming "Sunday Night Football'' visit from the hated Philadelphia Eagles is truly all about in terms of NFL playoff magnitude.

And the devil is in the details. Or, better said, the devil is in the desert, as the 9-3 Cowboys - excited as they should be to seek a 10th win and pull into first place in the NFC East, ahead of Philly, with a win - seem destined to be haunted not by the team they are now ...

But rather, by the team they were back in September, when they were riding high on the scoreboard and in the standings ... and then the practice-session season-ending injury to All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs occurred.

And suddenly, the high-low emotions of it all played a key role in the Cowboys' upset loss at the Arizona Cardinals.

The Cowboys have obviously rebounded beautifully. This is now, by the numbers and more, the NFL's best offense, led by MVP candidate Dak Prescott.

The defense, even without Diggs, is among the league's play-making best.

And overall, no team is hotter than "America's Team.''

Does it all add up to Dallas catching Philly ... not just on Sunday night but at season's end as well? The FISH PODCAST and the Fish Report walk you through it all! Welcome, Cowboys Nation, and listen and/or watch as you join the show!
