While the Miami Dolphins are busy finalizing their plans for the 2024 NFL draft, they also took care of some business for their coaching staff.

The team will be making a late addition to Mike McDaniel's staff, hiring former University of North Carolina and Wisconsin assistant Rob Everett, according to FootballScoops.com.

Everett will be hired as an offensive assistant with the Dolphins after spending the last season as a senior offensive analyst at Wisconsin. His coaching resume also includes a stint as tight ends coach and assistant to the defensive coordinator for the Memphis Express of the Alliance of American Football in the spring of 2019.

THE DOLPHINS' OTHER COACHING STAFF ADDITIONS IN 2024

Everett becomes the fourth new offensive assistant hired this offseason, following Parks Frazier, Jonathan Krause and Roman Sapolu in joining incumbent Max McCaffrey, the brother of 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey and draft prospect Luke McCaffrey.

Overall, the Dolphins have 11 new coaches on the staff in 2024, the other seven all on the defensive side, starting with new coordinator Anthony Weaver.

The others are linebackers/run game coordinator Joe Barry, pass game coordinator/secondary Brian Duker, outside linebackers coach Ryan Crow, assistant defensive line coach Kynjee' Cotton, assistant DB coach DeShawn Shead and defensive assistant Matt O'Donnell.

The Dolphins kick off their offseason program April 15.
