Breaking Down the Final Week 7 Injury Report

The Dolphins have some question marks ahead of their showdown at Philadelphia
In this story:

Only one Miami Dolphins player was ruled out on their final injury report of Week 7, though four are questionable.

The four question marks are CB Xavien Howard (groin), C Connor Williams (groin), FB Alec Ingold (foot) and CB Nik Needham (Achilles), though Howard told reporters after practice he definitely was playing.

The one player ruled out was cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who head coach Mike McDaniel said Wednesday wouldn't be playing after returning to practice this week.

Needham just completed his third week of practice and the Dolphins have until early next week to put him on the active roster, otherwise he'll have to remain on PUP for the rest of the season.

The Dolphins do have one roster spot open after placing RB Chris Brooks on injured reserve Friday.

Ingold and Williams both were questionable last week as well, though Ingold ended up playing against Carolina and Williams didn't.

If Williams sits out a third game, then Liam Eichenberg would be expected to start at center in his place.

Linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel returned to practice Friday after being out with an illness and did not get a game status designation, meaning he'll be available for the Eagles game.

Also not getting a game status designation and therefore good to go were CB Kader Kohou, WR Chase Claypool, LB Jaelan Phillips and RB Jeff Wilson Jr. Wilson is expected to be activated to fill the open roster spot.

EAGLES INJURY REPORT

The Eagles' final injury report was pretty simple, two players ruled out and everybody else good to go.

And the two players were ruled out weren't among the high-profile players dealing with injuries, they were S Reed Blankenship (ribs) and CB Bradley Roby (shoulder).

The Eagles lineup will feature DT Jalen Carter, WR DeVonta Smith, T Lane Johnson, CB Darius Slay and TE Dallas Goedert, all key players who were on the injury report at one point this week.
